Nick Hogan got fans talking when a viral gym photo showed him training with NWA star Bryan Idol, and he didn’t do much to cool the fire when asked about it later.
Now, Fightful Select has weighed in—and it sounds like WWE isn’t part of the plan. According to the update, Nick Hogan has been training with Bryan Idol at FTW’s World Wrestling Academies, but there’s no buzz inside WWE about bringing him in.
“When we spoke with WWE sources, they said they’ve not heard any discussion whatsoever of Nick Hogan wrestling in the company since the 2010s, and even then it was a ‘what if?’”
That aligns with Nick’s own comments to TMZ Sports, where he didn’t confirm anything but made it clear he feels a strong pull toward wrestling. He spoke about the connection he still feels to the business his father, Hulk Hogan, helped define.
“You never know, man. It’s in the blood. So, you never know.”
Nick also shared how being around a ring again sparked old feelings tied to his family legacy.
“I’ve always loved the business. Being around that environment makes me feel that much closer to my pops.”
While WWE may not be interested, Hogan hinted that his ties to wrestling run deep and wide, suggesting that other promotions may be more realistic if he chooses to lace up his boots.
“The wrestling community truly is a family… so being in contact with wrestlers and execs in the industry is nothing new.”
For now, Nick Hogan is still on the sidelines, but between the company he’s keeping and the words he’s choosing, fans shouldn’t rule anything out just yet.
