WWE isn’t holding grudges against former talent now appearing in TNA—especially as the two companies continue their working relationship.

During a Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp addressed speculation about whether WWE might avoid using TNA stars who were recently released from WWE. He shut down that theory, saying there’s no sign of internal bitterness about ex-WWE talent showing up in TNA.

“There are naturally some that are like, okay, I want to just make sure I’m paid as a result of that. That way you’re not a mark for yourself. But you know, outside of Andrade being released for disciplinary reasons, I haven’t heard of anything like that.”

He then used Jakara Jackson as a direct example—pointing out that WWE still holds her in high regard, even after her departure.

“But they were very quick to sign the former Jakara Jackson. And I know that people in WWE still think highly of her and want to see what she does outside of WWE.”

Jackson recently signed with TNA, and her move seems to be met with support rather than resentment from her former employers. The WWE–TNA partnership appears to be built on mutual professionalism, with no signs of bitterness toward those crossing the aisle.

WWE’s approach here shows a shift from its past reputation of freezing out ex-talent. Do you think this is a sign of a more mature WWE, or will old habits eventually return? Let us know in the comments.
