After Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s WWE contracts expired on August 10, fans quickly rallied behind them — and rumors started flying this week that WWE had confiscated signs supporting Kross during the August 11 episode of Monday Night Raw in Canada.

Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that he had heard from multiple attendees who claimed some Kross-related signs were taken away during the live broadcast.

“You know they did confiscate some of the signs tonight? Yeah, I mean nobody chanted. And I heard from several people at the show, and they said people thought people might chant. Nobody chanted. There were a few signs in the crowd, I didn’t see anyone taking them away and I did see them later in the show, but someone who was there said, ‘Yeah, they absolutely took the signs away.’”

However, in an update, Ringside News and other wrestling outlets can confirm that this did not happen. Multiple Karrion Kross signs were clearly visible during the live broadcast, disproving the claims that WWE staff removed them from fans.

While some in the WWE locker room remain convinced Kross and Scarlett will eventually return, WWE Corporate reportedly believes they are officially gone. In the meantime, the pair are accepting bookings outside the company.

It’s clear the speculation over Kross’ WWE future is far from over — but at least fans can rest assured their signs weren’t being pulled from the crowd.
