WWE’s creative structure continues to evolve, and another major behind-the-scenes move has now come into focus.
Thomas Schiller announced that he is stepping into a new role with WWE and TKO, confirming that he will now serve as Creative Director. The move adds another layer to the recent wave of changes within the company’s creative team.
Schiller shared the news publicly while outlining what his new position will involve, including shaping the visual presentation of WWE programming.
“I’m excited to share that I’m starting my next chapter at WWE/TKO. In this role, I’ll be diving deeper into the creative side of our broadcasts by elevating and producing graphics across all programming, shaping the look and feel of talent entrances, and bringing forward ideas that make our shows even more innovative, dynamic, and immersive.”
He also reflected on the transition and the people who helped him reach this point.
“I’m incredibly grateful to the friends, collaborators, and colleagues who’ve supported, challenged, and inspired me along the way. The last chapter shaped me in ways I’ll always value. Looking forward to what we build next.”
Schiller brings experience from previous work with the NHL and CBS, and his role as Creative Director will likely influence how WWE presents its shows visually moving forward.
This update comes as WWE continues to reshape its creative leadership. Recent changes include Ryan Ward taking on oversight of creative direction for both Raw and SmackDown, Alexandra Williams being promoted to Vice President and Lead Writer for Raw, and Brian “Road Dogg” James exiting the company.
With Schiller now in place as Creative Director, WWE appears to be continuing its push to refine both the storytelling and presentation elements of its programming.
