Monday Night Raw opens with Braun Strowman, flanked by Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, making his way to the ring. Renee Young is back on the Raw announce team!
Braun, Dolph, and Drew come to the ring as the announcers discuss his upcoming Hell In A Cell match with Roman Reigns. Strowman says he has something he wants us to see, and points to a video of last week, in which Braun attacked Roman during a tag team match, then beat him down with Drew and Dolph.
Back live, Braun says that’s what he calls justice. He says he tried to do things face to face, monster to man. He told Roman he would look him in the eye when he cashed-in, all Roman had to do was look him in the eye as he takes his beating. But Roman runs in a pack, and his Shield buddies had to help him. Braun says without Dean and Seth, he could take the title anytime, but with them that’s not the case. So he had to do things differently and he doesn’t care if the fans like it. He calls out Roman and says he has a pack of his own, and this is his yard. Braun says at Hell In A Cell, he’s going to dismantle Roman, break his spirit, break his body, and take what is rightfully his. The fans cheer.
McIntyre says we need to take a moment to look at them. He says The Shield have had their time but now it’s over. You’re looking at the new Kings of the jungle, and they’re going to feast on The Shield’s bloody carcasses. Dolph says the three of them will be the most dominant force in WWE history. More dominant than the Nation of Domination, D-X, and The Shield. He says they are going to leave The Shield decimated and embarrassed. Dolph reminds The Shield that they started this, but that he, Braun, and Drew, will end it. And with that, out come The Shield!
Before The Shield can get into the ring however, Baron Corbin brings members of the Raw roster down to stop them. It doesn’t work for long however, as The Shield make short work of them. The Shield climb on the apron but out come more Raw Superstar’s. Again, they’re made short work of, and now The Shield slide into the ring and start brawling with Braun, Dolph, and Drew! Corbin sends out more of the roster, and those around the ring join them in storming the ring. A huge brawl occurs with the entire Raw roster attempting to separate the two groups. They manage to get Braun, Dolph, and Drew out of the ring and force them up the ramp. The fans are left chanting “Let Them Fight”. The heels are taken backstage and The Shield are barricaded at ringside. Until Rollins breaks through, followed by Dean and Reigns. The Shield charge backstage as we head to the break.

We return to immediate replays of what just happened. Now we’re backstage and The Shield are being arrested and put in the back of a wagon. Everyone is yelling and going crazy and Cole typically says, “Roman’s being arrested!” – I guess Seth and Dean don’t matter.
Back at ringside and The Riott Squad are in the ring. Jojo announces The Bella Twins with a lengthy intro. Apparently this is the first of two “legendary” returns tonight… the other being Shawn Michaels. Before the tag match however, another break.

The Bella Twins Vs. Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan W/ Ruby Riott
Nikki Bella starts the match against Liv Morgan. Morgan does John Cena’s “You can’t see me” taunt, and Nikki runs at her but Liv leans through the ropes to force the break. Sarah Logan tags in, and she locks up with Nikki. Logan connects with a forearm to the face, then another, but Nikki applies a waistlock and takes her down for a one count. Nikki torques the arm and flips her over. Nikki then applies an arm bar. Bella lifts her up for Rack Attack 2.0, but Logan slides off and slams her down by the hair. Logan then applies an arm bar. Nikki fights up and whips her off. Nikki runs for an avalanche in the corner but misses. Logan goes to the middle rope but Nikki comes back with a second rope tornado arm breaker.
Brie Bella tags in, and she hits a double-team arm breaker with her sister. Brie applies an arm bar, but Logan fights to her feet. Brie looks for a sunset flip pin, but Morgan blind tags in and kicks Brie in the back for a two count. Morgan applies a chin lock and knees her to keep her down. Morgan talks some trashn about Daniel Bryan, so Brie forearms her in the face a few times. Morgan bends backwards, Matrix-style, under a clothesline and takes her down by the hair for a two count.
Sarah Logan tags back in, and lands a waistlock takeover. Logan forearms her into the ropes before whipping her into them. Brie ducks under a clothesline and clotheslines her down. Brie then starts the YES! Kicks and takes her out. Morgan runs in, and Brie dropkicks her down, rather poorly. Brie yells “BRIE MODE”, and hits running knees to the faces of Logan and Morgan against the ropes. Riott gets on the apron to distract her. Brie goes for a suicide dive, but catches her feet on the ropes as Logan was meant to Forearm her. It was a bad botch.

We return to see Logan wrenching Brie’s neck in a camel clutch of sorts. Brie manages to break free and hit another poor dropkick from the middle rope. Nikki gets the hot tag and takes it to Morgan. She hits a springboard kick for a two count. Logan breaks up the pin, but Nikki fights her off. Logan is knocked from the ring and Ruby climbs to the apron to talk trash but she’s knocked down. So Brie runs for another suicide dive onto both of them, and once again, botches it and almost lands square on her head. Unnecessary risk.
Inside the ring, Morgan rolls Nikki up in the ring, but she kicks out. Nikki then hits Morgan with the Rack Attack 2.0 for the win.
Winners: The Bella Twins
The Bella Twins celebrate in the ring and hug each other. At WWE Super Show-Down on October 6, The Bella Twins will team with Ronda Rousey to take on The Riott Squad.
Later tonight, Shawn Michaels will be here to talk Triple H Vs. The Undertaker.
We see Baron Corbin backstage on the phone, assuring Stephanie McMahon everything is fine. He hangs up and in walks Finn Balor, all smiles. Corbin asks what he wants, and Finn says he wants a rematch. He is the only one. Corbin says he makes the matches now. Balor says he makes the matches and he changes the rules to. Corbin reminds him of his position. Balor says he’s so proud of his new power, it makes him feel like he’s over-compensating. Balor asks him for a rematch tonight, no tricks, to see who the better man is. Corbin agrees to the match and makes it the main event.

We’re back and Charly Caruso interviews Chad Gable and Bobby Roode in the Gorilla position. Apparently they’re a team now and Gable says he chose Roode because he keeps an eye on everyone, and he likes what he sees. Roode says that’s a great compliment, so let’s go show them what they’re made of. Oh boy.
All three commentators try to make this sound like a logical, perfect pairing on their way to the ring to face The Ascension. Before the match can begin, Konnor grabs the microphone and says both of them are failures, which is why they’re teaming together.
Bobby Roode & Chad Gable Vs. The Ascension
The match begins with Gable and Viktor. Gable hits him with a wrestling throw, then one to Konnor, and another to Viktor before tagging Roode into the match.
Roode throws Viktor to the corner, then hits a suplex. He wrenches the arm but gets forced to the corner and Konnor is tagged in. After a kick or so, Konnor tags Viktor back into the match and he applies a headlock to Roode. Bobby tries to fight out but Viktor slams him to the mat and hits a knee drop to the face. Konnor comes back in and lands an elbow drop to Roode for a two-count. Konnor applies a headlock to ground Roode. Again, Roode fights to his feet but Konnor knocks him on his back again and tags Viktor, who applies a headlock. Wow, what a boring match so far.
Roode escapes and manages to tag Chad Gable. The Olympian hits a crossbody to Viktor, dropkick’s Konnor off of the apron, then suplexes Viktor. Gable is thrown to the apron but wastes no time and hits a senton to Konnor on the floor. He returns to the ring, hits a missile dropkick, followed by a rolling German suplex pin for the win.
Winner: Chad Gable & Bobby Roode
Gable and Roode celebrate their win after the match. Gable was the only decent thing about that match.
We see Elias backstage, talking about his album to a random person backstage. He’ll be live, next!
