We return from the break and Triple H and Stephanie are in the ring, with the roster on the stage, for the Connor’s Cure presentation. Stephanie talks about former WWE fan and Hall of Famer Connor Michalek and how they’ve raised $2.5 million in his name, helping 400 families. They say they’ve teamed with a new tag team partner and turn us to a video of the WWE Superstars and the kids working with Hyundai to make a car with the children’s handprints all over it, which will travel across the States for cancer.
The Hyundai Hope On Wheels car, as it’s known, drives into the arena. Stephanie then introduces two of WWE’s newest superstars, Cartere and Elizabeth – two kids who have had cancer. They are the 2018 Hope On Wheels ambassadors. They are not only surviving their cancer battle, they are thriving. She welcomes Carter and Elizabeth to the ring, along with the ambassador for Hyundai Hope On Wheels. They make their way to the ring high fiving fans and smiling widely.
Triple H says Carter and Elizabeth are not only survivors, they are the coolest kids he’s met. Triple H has Elizabeth do a Fortnite dance. They then present them with two WWE Championships. A “You deserve it” chant picks up for them, causing Elizabeth to cry, and that got me I’ll admit. Triple H and Stephanie raise their arms up.
Zafar Brooks takes the microphone and says these kids know about fighting and winning, just like WWE. Hyundai Hope On Wheels is celebrating 20 years of saving lives and creating hope. They are so proud to team with WWE and Connor’s Cure in the fight to save lives and beat pediatric cancer. Together they are putting the smackdown on pediatric cancer. This work is important, hard, and expensive, so they’re supporting WWE and Connor’s Cure. On behalf of the Hyundai dealers and Hope On Wheels, they’re presenting WWE with a check for $200,000 for Connor’s Cure. Everyone smiles and hugs to end the segment. Those things can be real hokey but that was great.
The Shield will take on Baron Corbin and two mystery partners later tonight. We’ll also see Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre take on The Revival with the RAW Tag Team Championships on the line.

We see Dean Ambrose backstage and Dolph Ziggler approaches him. Ambrose grabs him by the shirt but Dolph says he just wants to talk. He reiterates what he said earlier about Ambrose being the forgotten member of The Shield, and how he’s better on his own. He says Ambrose doesn’t actually have to do anything tonight, he can just stand by and let them do the work. Ambrose looks like he is considering it.
Chad Gable and Bobby Roode come to the ring. We get a promo from Gable, split-screen, in which he says Roode is an inspiration to him. He often thinks to himself “WWBRD? What Would Bobby Roode Do?” And the answer is “Be glorious”
Chad Gable W/Bobby Roode Vs. Konnor W/Viktor
The bell rings and Konnor immediately hits a kick to the gut to take control. He whips Gable into the corner as hard as he can and gets a two count. Konnor applies a chin lock, but Gable fights up.
Konnor knocks Gable back down and reapplies the chin lock. Again Gable fights up but Konnor knees him in the midsection and elbows him in the face. Konnor puts him on the top rope, but Gable puts Konnor in an armbar over the top rope! He lets him go before hitting a dropkick from the middle rope. Gable hits a German suplex for a quick two count. Konnor avoids a moonsault and uses his whole body to knock Gable over. He hits a Dominator for the surprise win.
Winner: Konnor
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are walking to their limousine when Charly Caruso stops them. She asks about The Undertaker. Triple H asks what she wants to know. She wants a response to Undertaker’s comments. If Undertaker is worried about a suit, then he’s already lost. They won’t be fighting in suits or a boardroom. As far as him taking his soul, he sold that a long time ago. He says that anybody that is honest with themselves can feel it in the air. It’s been coming for a while now; when it comes to The Undertaker… the end is near. Triple H gets in the limo and leaves. Well, realistically the end was near five years ago, not it’s just a parody.

We’re back from the break and The Revival are already in the ring, no entrance for them says a lot.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match
(C) Ziggler & McIntyre Vs. The Revival
Dolph Ziggler will start against Scott Dawson. They lock up, and Ziggler gets him in the corner before giving a clean break. Ziggler then shoves him, so Dawson chops him down. Dawson wrenches the arm and tags in Dash Wilder. Ziggler quickly puts him in the corner, and Drew McIntyre tags in.
McIntyre bounces him off the turnbuckle and chops him down. Ziggler tags in and punches Wilder in the ribs. Ziggler punches him in the corner and tries for a splash in the corner, but Wilder moves. Wilder then hits a back suplex. Dawson tags in, and he stomps Ziggler’s arm while Wilder holds it down. Dawson hits a northern lights suplex for a two count. Wilder tags in, and Dawson whips Ziggler into a slingshot battering ram from Wilder for a two count.
Wilder chops Ziggler and puts him in the corner. Ziggler elbows him back and goes for a spike DDT, but Wilder flapjacks him. Wilder then applies the Rings of Saturn, a shout-out to Neville? Ziggler crawls away but Wilder tries to pull him to the middle of the ring to reapply the hold, but Ziggler gets out. Wilder shoves him into the ropes and cross-bodies him over the top rope to the floor!
Wilder gets to his feet and charges, but Ziggler sidesteps him to send him shoulder-first into the ring steps. McIntyre tags in and stomps Wilder while he attempts to get in the ring. McIntyre hits a massive suplex for a two count. The Champs are well in control as we head to the break.
*Commercial Break*
We return from the break to see Scott Dawson make the hot tag against Ziggler. He connects with some jabs, then hits a butterfly powerbomb for a close two count. He takes Dolph to the top rope. Wilder makes a tag, Dawson hits a superplex, and Dash follows-up with a huge splash from the top rope but McIntyre is there to make the save. The Revival may have something as fiery underdog heels, the fans are really getting behind them.
Dash and McIntyre brawl outside the ring but McIntyre punches the ring post by accident. Dash then catches McIntyre with a nice tornado DDT at ringside and the fans popped. Ziggler and Wilder botch a fameasser, but Dash recovers and lifts him up in the electric chair so Dawson can hit a clothesline from the top for another two count.
McIntyre gets the tag and connects with a big boot. Dash jumps towards him but McIntyre catches him in mid-air. Dawson leaps from the top rope and dropkicks the back of Dash, knocking McIntyre down for another near-fall. McIntyre takes them both out in frustration. McIntyre tags Ziggler so they can hit Wilder with the Claymore/Zig-Zag finish for the win.
Winners: Ziggler & McIntyre
The Shield will take on Baron Corbin and two mystery partners in the main event. Bobby Lashley will also take on Elias. After the break we’ll be getting a new episode of The Kevin Owens Show.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Elias.” The Drifter says he only speaks the truth, and tonight the truth is that Denver do not deserve a performance from him. So he will turn the spotlight over to a man he respects, a man he can have a conversation with. The person who just happens to be his partner in Australia… Kevin Owens.
Owens thanks Elias for the introduction and says he is his biggest fan. He says he’s honoured to be Elias’ partner come WWE Super Showdown. Owens points to a picture of Bobby Lashley and says you can’t forget Lashley’s partner in Australia, the 16x Champion, John Cena. But that’s in weeks. Owens turns his attentions to Lashley and Lio Rush tonight, but Elias says he doesn’t even want to see them. Owens says Rush started insulting him on commentary last week, for no reason whatsoever. So tonight he has invited Rush out to be his guest tonight.
Rush comes out and thanks them for welcoming him to the show. Owens asks him to come on down to the ring. Rush doesn’t take the bait and says he is the 23 year old piece of gold, he’s Bobby hype man, and he might be young but he isn’t dumb. Elias says he knows Rush might be concerned, but he need not worry because they’ve prepared proper seating; Kevin Owens pulls out a children’s car seat and sets it on the steel chair, much to the laughter of the fans. Rush fake laughs along but introduces Colorado’s-own Bobby Lashley.
Lashley comes out to a big reception. He will take on Elias, next!
