Raw opens and Michael Cole announces that Booker T is not at the event tonight due to travel problems caused by Hurricane Harvey. WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler joins them on commentary for the evening.

Thoughts are with @BookerT5x and everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey as @JerryLawler joins @MichaelCole & @WWEGraves tonight for #RAW. pic.twitter.com/i6QDd6fE5E

The RAW intro video plays, and then Cole announces that Brock Lesnar will be on the show tonight following the attack by Braun Strowman. Alexa Bliss will also take on Sasha Banks for the RAW Women’s Championship. Finally, John Cena and Roman Reigns will sign a contract to make their match at WWE No Mercy official.

The Miz and The Miztourage is in the ring and being loudly booed. The Miz starts speaking, but he’s immediately cut off by WWE RAW General Manager Kurt Angle’s music. The crowd delightfully chants, “You suck” to the tune of his song. Angle says he thinks he knows what The Miz is going to say. His perception of the status of the Intercontinental Championship has been diminished. There was no title defense at SummerSlam, but there will be one at No Mercy. The Miz cuts him off and defines “respect” according to the dictionary. The Miz says Angle does not understand what respect means. It is a disrespect to him when Angle interrupts him. It is a disrespect to the Intercontinental Championship to not have it defended on a major show. Angle says he understands Miz’s frustrations, so he will give the title the showcase it deserves. Next week, The Miz will defend the Intercontinental Championship against winner of an over-the-top-rope battle royale. That match is next!

The Big Show’s music hits, and he comes out completely clean shaven. The Hardy Boyz are out next, so they will technically be opponents tonight. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel will be in this match as well. Finally, Finn Bálor joins the list of men competing.

First, @WWETheBigShow.
Then, @JEFFHARDYBRAND & @MATTHARDYBRAND.
Now, @FinnBalor?!

What a #BattleRoyal this is shaping up to be on #RAW! pic.twitter.com/fMVvdYzr2L

15 Man Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royale

The bell rings with the full ring, Curt Hawkins poses for the crowd and is immediately lifted by everyone else in the match and thrown over the top rope. The group then turns their attentions to Big Show, who’s game for them to try and proceeds to throw everybody off like the giant he is. The match breaks down into normal battle royal action from there, the Miztourage dumping Kalisto, Finn working the Drifter over in the corner as the Club and the Hardyz clash.

Big Show starts caving everybody’s chests in with chops. The giant shrugs Karl Anderson off but Luke Gallows and Finn Balor assist him in dumping Big Show outside and eliminating him! A mini-Club reunion! Elias and Balor into it with each other again, Matt Hardy looking to dump Jeff Hardy at the same time as the Miztourage dump R-Truth and eliminate him!

A precarious position for @FinnBalor to be in…

Goldust nearly eliminates Jordan, Axel and Dallas have Balor of the ropes and the Drifter comes to help but Balor stays in there. Again Elias goes after Finn but Goldust of all people makes the save and drops him with a snap scoop powerslam. Goldust is eliminated to send us to break.

Back from commercial and Jason Jordan is trying to eliminate the Drifter while the Hardyz and the Club fight it out and the Miztourage tries to dump Finn. Gallows blocks a Twist of Fate but gets low bridged and eliminated! Anderson thinks he’s got Matt dumped but Hardy lands on the apron and pulls him out with him!

Slugging it out on the apron, Twist of Fate denied but Matt puts Anderson into the ringpost and eliminates him! Luke eliminates Matt in return and the Club put the boots to him. With the referees distracted, Miz saves Bo! The Miztourage in it with Jason, Finn heads to the apron for a moment to clock Axel, picking up a head of steam before taking it to Elias and nearly eliminating him with a gamengiri!

Balor taking all comers, shotgun dropkick on Bo, Sling Blade on Jordan, a face off with Jeff Hardy but he starts rolling in return, Manhattan Drop to the basement dropkick, Twist of Fate denied and Finn plants him with a Sling Blade! Shotgun dropkick puts Dallas in the corner, one for Hardy as well and Finn is rolling….Bray Wyatt appears and throws Finn over the top rope, then disappears again!

Miztourage are beating on Jordan but he stacks ’em up for a shoulder block, overhead belly-to-belly suplexes for the Drifter and Jeff! Miztourage double team him but he evades them and dumps both of them! He dumps Elias too! Jeff comes from behind and tosses Jordan out for the win!

RAPID FIRE ELIMINATIONS lead to @JEFFHARDYBRAND standing tall in this #BattleRoyal! He’ll face @mikethemiz for the #ICTitle NEXT WEEK! #RAW pic.twitter.com/EKd17hDn5C

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Jeff is now the number one contender to The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship next Monday night! The Miz looks shocked and terrified after the match, while Jeff poses for the fans. We see replays of Bray taking out Balor, and Jeff winning.

We get replays of Brock Lesnar winning the Fatal 4-Way at SummerSlam, as well as last Monday night when he was beaten down by Braun Strowman. Enzo Amore will compete in his first cruiserweight match, next!

UP NEXT: After shocking the @WWEUniverse last week on #205Live, @real1 competes in the #Cruiserweight division for the first time on #RAW! pic.twitter.com/pnaebzVX8B

Charly Caruso is backstage with Alexa Bliss. She asks about Sasha Banks and Alexa says that Sasha is not a great Champion, she’s never once been able to defend that title. Bliss says that there is a feeling in the air tonight, the fans know something special is going to happen, and she will grant them their wish by winning back her title.

Enzo comes out to a good reception from the fans. Enzo shows replays of Big Cass injuring himself last week, saying he got what he deserved. Enzo says he has proved that he can compete with the 7-footers, so now he is competing with the cruiserweights. Enzo mentions Floyd Mayweather beating Conor McGregor and the fans boo. He’s losing the crowd fast as he dances and introduces his opponent…

Enzo Amore Vs. Noam Dar

They circle the ring, and Enzo tries to get the crowd involved. Dar takes him down and outwrestles him before mocking his running man dance. Dar wrenches the arm, but Enzo gets to the rope. They lock up, and Dar wrenches the arm again. Enzo uses the ropes to backflip out, but Dar punches him down. Dar then knees him in the midsection. Dar then mocks Enzo.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville is watching backstage. Dar applies an arm bar and rips at the hair for a one count. Dar viciously punches Enzo down in the corner. Enzo turns him around and unloads some right hands. The referee backs Enzo up. Dar then gives him a drop-toe-hold into the turnbuckle. Enzo botches Eat Defeat for the win!

Winner: Enzo Amore

Enzo Amore celebrates his win while Neville continues to watch backstage. Charly Caruso comes up and asks for his reaction to Enzo. Neville says if that weasel is supposed to be competition for him, he’ll be Cruiserweight Champion forever and ever and ever. How you doin’? Neville laughs and walks away. I love heel Neville, he’s one of the best things going today.
