WWE Makes Major Change to Elimination Chamber Outcomes

With the WWE Royal Rumble just days away, Triple H has officially confirmed the Elimination Chamber stakes for 2026, and they’re just as massive as ever.

Appearing on ESPN’s Get Up, Triple H revealed that the winners of both the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches will go on to challenge for championships at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas this April—just like the Royal Rumble winners.

“The Royal Rumble starts that Road to WrestleMania, and if you look at that as our playoffs, now the stakes get big.”

“The winners of the Royal Rumble go on to face the champion of their choosing at WrestleMania in the main event. The winners of next month’s Elimination Chamber will do the same.”

“So you’re sort of in that playoff mode now, where the stakes do not get any bigger.”

With WWE now in full WrestleMania season, Triple H said this is the point in the year where everyone locks in, knowing how high the rewards are.

“Everybody is bringing their A-game, this is what they ramp up for all year long and it all leads them to WrestleMania in Las Vegas in April. It’s as big as it gets.”

The WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event is set for February 28 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois—a city known for passionate fans and unforgettable moments. The structure itself, introduced in 2002, has become one of the most dangerous and career-defining match types in WWE history.

Now, with WrestleMania title shots on the line, the pressure has never been higher.
