WWE Makes Change to Ring Announcer Assignments on 3/4 NXT

WWE’s NXT brand brought an exciting show for their March 4 episode. They had a lot on the card for the two-hour show on The CW, and fans were quick to notice a different voice calling the wrestlers to the ring.

Mike Rome is NXT’s regular ring announcer, but he was not around this week. We’re not sure why Rome missed tonight’s show in the NXT Arena, but Lilian Garcia was on hand.

Lilian Garcia was the announcer for WWE NXT tonight, and she kicked things off by announcing Chelsea Green to the ring as she teamed with Piper Niven to take on Sol Ruca and Zaria.

We previously reported that Lilian Garcia was in Orlando ahead of NXT. This is certainly an interesting week for NXT, because not only is it the go-home show before Roadblock, but many markets will not see the episode due to Donald Trump’s speech.

We will have to see when Mike Rome makes his return to television. You never know what can happen in WWE, but they obviously have a talented roster of ring announcers, so they can move someone around if needed.
