A long-overdue clash between two of WWE’s most dominant forces could finally be happening on the grandest stage of them all.
Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair have both made it clear in interviews that they want to face each other, and now it looks like WWE is seriously considering making it happen. According to Fightful Select, Ripley vs. Belair has been discussed for WrestleMania 41, marking the first major singles showdown between two of the company’s most dominant women.
Ripley, fresh off regaining the WWE Women’s World Championship by taking out Liv Morgan on the Raw on Netflix debut, has solidified her spot at the top. Meanwhile, Belair is still holding gold, reigning as one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Naomi.
Fans have been waiting for this collision for years, but circumstances have kept them apart. The two were originally set to clash for the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank 2022, but Ripley was sidelined with an injury, leading to Carmella stepping in. Since then, they’ve shared only brief moments in the ring, including as teammates in the 2024 Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
Of course, WWE’s WrestleMania plans are always subject to change, and nothing is locked in just yet. But if this match finally happens, it could be one of the biggest women’s showdowns in years.
Would you want to see Ripley and Belair go one-on-one at WrestleMania 41? Or should WWE go in a different direction? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
