Jade Cargill might not be in trouble with WWE officials just yet, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t talking behind the scenes.
After a string of injuries involving B-Fab, Michin, and Tiffany Stratton—all following matches with the current WWE Women’s Champion—Sean Ross Sapp revealed during a recent Fightful Select Q&A that Cargill’s name is absolutely coming up in locker room conversations.
While no official blame has been placed on Cargill by WWE producers or management, the growing number of injuries has quietly raised concerns among her fellow Superstars.
“Well, Tiffany hasn’t wrestled since a match with her as well. But I want to make it clear—I don’t know if it was specifically spots that Jade did or negligence on her part. I don’t have that information,” Sapp began. “But it was certainly discussed among talent and has been discussed among talent.”
He confirmed the trend hasn’t gone unnoticed among the roster—even if it’s not being talked about publicly. Sapp also warned against overhyping the conversation online, noting that internal chatter doesn’t automatically equal drama.
“I didn’t hear of any specific heat from the office, producers, or anything of that nature. But talent definitely do notice the trend, and it does get talked about in the locker room. Absolutely.”
“I’m sure that really shitty engagement accounts will take that and run with it as if it’s salacious or something like that. But I mean… why—why would that not be discussed? You know what I mean?”
So far, WWE has kept Jade in a strong position, even letting her cut promos referencing Michin’s injury as a storyline threat to the women’s division. But with Tiffany Stratton now off TV following a match with Cargill and B-Fab believed to have suffered a concussion, talent are starting to take notice—even if nobody’s pointing fingers just yet.
The real question now is whether Jade can move forward without another incident… because if one more Superstar ends up hurt, silence from the office might not last much longer.
