WWE LFG was first announced in late 2024 as a major new reality series aimed at spotlighting future WWE stars. The series officially premiered on February 16, 2025, with a stacked lineup of legendary mentors including The Undertaker, Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, and Mickie James. Each legend led a team of prospects, guiding them through the physical and mental demands of the wrestling business while also testing their charisma, in-ring ability, and perseverance.
The show quickly gained traction with fans, thanks in part to The Undertaker’s involvement and the show’s raw, behind-the-scenes format. The first season concluded with Jasper Troy from Team Booker T and Tyra Mae Steele from Team Undertaker being crowned the winners. In a twist, the mentors themselves competed for bragging rights, with The Undertaker earning the Season 1 “mentor belt.”
Following the success of the debut season, WWE renewed the series for a second run. Season 2 is set to premiere on June 22, 2025. While Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, and The Undertaker all return as mentors, Michelle McCool steps in to replace Mickie James for the new season. The format has also been adjusted—episodes will now run for 60 minutes instead of the original 90, offering a tighter, faster-paced look at the competition.
