But on February 17, 2026, Knobbs shared heartbreaking news that shifted the focus entirely. Taking to Instagram, Knobbs revealed that his mother has passed away.

“Yesterday I lost my mom. She was the anchor of our family, the pillar of strength, and one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. She held us all together no matter what was going on. I’m really hurting right now.”

Knobbs admitted that not being able to see her one last time in person has been especially painful, though he’s thankful for one final conversation.

“I wish I could’ve gotten down there to see her one last time, that part is tough. But I thank God I was able to talk to her on the phone yesterday before she passed. That means everything to me.”

The loss comes during what has already been one of the most difficult stretches of his life. Between repeated hospitalizations, serious infections, and financial strain, Knobbs has been honest with fans about how heavy things have felt. He closed the message by asking for prayers for his family during this time.

“Life sure gets harder the older we get. I’ve been fighting a lot of battles lately, and this one hits deep. But I’m grateful for my family, my friends, and my fans. You’ve gotten me through more than you know, and I appreciate every single one of you. Please keep my mom and my family in your prayers. Love you all. ❤️”
