WWE has big things in store for Stephanie Vaquer—and a Liv Morgan feud is on the table, but fans will have to wait a little longer to see it unfold.
According to BodySlam.net on January 2, 2026, WWE has been discussing a potential Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan match for some time now. The interactions fans have seen between the two weren’t accidental—it was an intentional tease. But the company isn’t planning to pull the trigger just yet.
“Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan has been discussed for some time down the road which is why they teased it. However, it is not considered an imminent buildup but one that they will build towards.”
The match isn’t penciled in for WrestleMania 42, but that doesn’t mean Vaquer will be left off the card. WWE is still having serious talks internally about placing her against either Becky Lynch or Rhea Ripley at the show. Either matchup would be a huge step up—and a clear vote of confidence in Vaquer’s rising stock in the company.

With WrestleMania 42 set to go down April 18 and 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, WWE has time to build whichever story they choose. But one thing’s for sure—Vaquer is firmly in their plans for the long haul.
