Despite recent discussions, Blake Monroe and Jacy Jayne aren’t heading to RAW or SmackDown just yet.
According to Fightful Select on January 9, 2026, WWE has definitely held internal discussions about both Monroe and Jayne joining the main roster — but no call-ups are expected imminently.
“Although there have been some names like Blake Monroe and Jacy Jayne discussed for call-ups, we aren’t expecting those two imminently,” the report stated.
The update comes after earlier reports noted that Monroe was being eyed for a move to RAW and that creative plans involving her were already in motion. Jayne, who is the current NXT Women’s Champion, was also reported to be in serious consideration for a jump following a solid 2025.
Jayne has been on WWE’s radar for years, especially after making her SmackDown debut back in August 2022. According to previous Fightful reporting, her appearance left a lasting impression, sparking “semi-regular” conversations about a future promotion.
“There has been semi-regular discussion for a call-up ever since that August 2022 appearance,” the report added.
The news doesn’t rule out either star moving up later in 2026 — but for now, both are expected to remain key players in NXT as WWE continues to evaluate its roster strategy.
