WWE High on EK Prosper As NXT Rebuild Continues

WWE NXT is going through a rebuilding phase right now, and that shake-up has created room for new stars to step up in a big way.

With Trick Williams, Oba Femi, and Je’Von Evans no longer part of the NXT landscape, WWE is looking to reload the men’s division with fresh talent. One of the names gaining attention behind the scenes is EK Prosper, also known as Eli Knight.

Prosper’s journey with WWE started in October 2025 when he was introduced as one of the newest WWE ID prospects. That early vote of confidence turned into something bigger just a few months later. In January 2026, it was revealed that Prosper officially signed with WWE and would be joining NXT, putting him in position to begin making a name for himself on television.

Now, it sounds like WWE already sees big potential in him as the brand moves forward. According to sources who spoke to Bodyslam, there is strong belief internally that Prosper could become a key piece of NXT’s future. There are also expectations that fans will start seeing much more of him in the near future as the rebuild continues.

With NXT trying to reload its roster and build new stars, EK Prosper appears to be one of the names WWE is preparing to feature in a bigger role sooner rather than later.
