WWE Forced To Make Saturday Night’s Main Event Announcer Change-Up Due To Winter Weather Situation

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24, 2026, will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This was a big night, but not everyone was able to miss the show.

Stephanie McMahon kicked off Saturday Night’s Main Event this week. She did so alone, as she explained that Joe Tessitore, her broadcast partner, couldn’t be at the show because his flight was grounded in Detroit.

The United States is getting hammered by snow right now, as some states are seeing wintry weather for the first time in a long, long time. This called for some travel situations, and Joe Tessitore was a victim.

Over 12,000 flights have been cancelled all over the USA because of this weather situation. It seems that Joe Tessitore’s flight from Detroit was a part of that troubling travel nightmare. However, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event still went down as planned.

We will have to see if Joe Tessitore, or anyone else, experiences travel situations because of this winter storm. Hopefully, he is able to relax a bit and watch the show from a very warm place, but he couldn’t make it to work tonight.
