The April 15 episode of WWE NXT was quite a show. With Stand & Deliver coming up this Saturday, they still needed to put the finishing touches on one big match.
Stephanie Vaquer defeated Giulia to win the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Roadblock 2025, which led to her relinquishing the NXT North American Championship. In response, a six-woman ladder match was scheduled for Stand & Deliver, with qualifying matches announced to determine the participants.
Sol Ruca defeated Jazmyn Nyx in the first qualifier, and Izzi Dame secured a win over Wren Sinclair with a sit-down powerbomb. The previous week, Zaria beat Lash Legend with an F5 to earn her spot, and Kelani Jordan followed with a victory over Roxanne Perez after hitting a split-legged moonsault. More qualifying matches remain to determine the final lineup for the title opportunity at Stand & Deliver.
The first match to determine who would be in that ladder match was Tatum Paxley versus Lola Vice. The two fought hard, and the match lasted throughout a commercial break. When they returned, the two were still battling for control of the contest. In the end, Lola Vice landed a backfist and won to qualify.
Karmen Petrovic and then Thea Hail made her big return to the ring. This was a huge surprise, and it came with a ton of “welcome back” chants from fans in the NXT Arena. In the end, Hail won with a kimora lock to advance to the match.
Now the match at NXT Stand & Deliver for the Women’s North American Title will be Sol Ruca, Zaria, Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame, Lola Vice, and Thea Hail. We will have to see who comes out of Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena with the gold.
