AAA TripleManía XXXIII saw Finn Balor introducing the Demon King puppet called “Demonito” and WWE quickly started selling the puppet on WWEShop. However, fans were shocked by the steep price tag of the puppet and voiced their displeasure on social media.
One fan took to Twitter and called out WWE for trying to scam everyone, questioning why the puppet is so expensive, saying, “Is WWE scamming us? Because why is this so expensive?”
Another fan was just shocked at the price tag, saying, “100$? HUH.” A different fan told WWE to lower the price and then they would buy the puppet, saying, “Lower the price and I will buy.”
Yet another fan pointed out that charging $100 for a puppet is simply outrageous and it’s just better to make one yourself, saying, “$100 for a puppet is outrageous. Might as well make one yourself.”
Jason Baker also took to Twitter and revealed that he and his creative team were responsible for making the Demon King puppet in the first place.
“Thanks to my amazing crew for helping me build this & WWE creative team for such a fun project.”
The Demonito puppet might be special, but fans don’t like the $100 price tag. It’s unclear if WWE will lower the cost or keep it as a pricey collectible, but fans are definitely speaking out and so we’ll have to see if WWE will decide to make it cheaper soon.
