Tonga Loa has been a constant part of WWE programming since his debut during the Backlash Premium Live Event, but he’s been on the shelf after suffering an injury at Survivor Series: WarGames. While he remains absent, it appears WWE is eyeing Loa’s return just in time for WrestleMania 41.

While speaking on Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes noted that the goal is for Tonga Loa to return to television around WrestleMania 41. While there’s no confirmation of a specific match for him at the event, the plan is to have him back in action by then.

“They’re shooting for WrestleMania for Tonga Loa, yeah. I don’t know if they have a spot for him. You know, I wouldn’t say that he’s got a tag match lined up, but they’re shooting that he’s back on TV around WrestleMania.”

Tonga Loa suffered a bicep injury during the Bloodline vs. Bloodline WarGames match at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event last year, and the new Bloodline has clearly been suffering during his absence.

WrestleMania 41 will be taking place on April 19th and 20th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada and it’s expected to be one of the biggest WrestleManias of all time, so we’ll have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for Loa once he is back in action.

Do you think Tonga Loa’s return will reinvigorate the Bloodline storyline, or should WWE use his comeback to launch him as a solo superstar? Leave your feedback and predictions in the comments below!
