AJ Styles received an emotional farewell on the February 23 episode of WWE RAW in Atlanta — and now there’s a major update about who could stand beside him at the WWE Hall of Fame.

Following Styles’ surprise Hall of Fame announcement by The Undertaker during the February 23 episode of RAW in Atlanta, a report from BodySlam.net reveals who WWE wants to handle the induction honors. According to the report, WWE would like John Cena to induct AJ Styles into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame.

That pairing would be fitting. Cena and Styles shared a defining rivalry during the latter half of Cena’s full-time run, including multiple epic matches that helped cement Styles as a true main-event star. Styles was even part of Cena’s retirement tour as they faced each other at Crown Jewel in 2025.

With Styles already confirmed as part of the 2026 Hall of Fame class — alongside Stephanie McMahon — having Cena deliver the induction speech would tie together two careers that are permanently linked in WWE history.

Nothing has been officially announced regarding who will induct Styles, but if WWE gets its wish, we could see Cena back in the limelight one more time — this time to honor The Phenomenal One.

Would John Cena be the perfect choice to induct AJ Styles, or is there someone else who should get that honor? Sound off in the comments.
