WrestleMania 41 is a little over two months away, and WWE still has plenty of time to finalize the match card. Things are still fluid since the card is obviously not finalized yet, but interestingly, WWE is now considering a first-time-ever match for the big event.

According to WrestleVotes during a recent episode of Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WWE is reportedly considering AJ Styles vs. Finn Bálor as a “first-time-ever at WrestleMania” match for WrestleMania 41.

It was previously reported that the full match card for WrestleMania 41 is still being finalized. However, the major matches are likely already set, showing that WWE is confident the top matches will exceed expectations.

It is to be noted that The Phenomenal One and Finn Bálor have already squared off against each other at TLC 2017, which is regarded as one of their best matches in the company.

John Cena is officially set for the Elimination Chamber match, with WWE planning for him to win and go on to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. On top of that, Jey Uso will be challenging GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Showcase of the Immortals. Charlotte Flair will also go after Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 41.

In the meantime, AJ Styles began a feud with Bron Breakker during the February 17th edition of Monday Night RAW, which could culminate in a match at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.

WWE is still working on the match lineup for WrestleMania 41, but a possible match between AJ Styles and Finn Bálor is something fans are already excited about. They have a long history, work well together, and always put on great matches, so WrestleMania bout could be a big moment for both stars.
