Tony Hinchcliffe’s relationship with WWE appears far from over—even after his SummerSlam Late Night special was abruptly canceled earlier this year.

The outspoken Kill Tony host previously helmed the Roast of WrestleMania, earning strong reactions across the board. While his next big WWE gig fell through, sources say the door is still wide open.

Fightful Select reports that “sources in WWE claim that the relationship between the two sides is fine” and recent discussions have reinforced that sentiment. Hinchcliffe has been spotted around multiple WWE-related appearances in recent months, sparking renewed chatter about his future involvement.

According to the report, “WWE sources told Fightful that they expect to work with Hinchcliffe again, although the specifics of what that might be for is unknown.” However, sources added that it “is quite likely that it will be a similar late night program.”

Whether it’s another roast-style event, a WWE-branded comedy show, or something entirely new, it sounds like Hinchcliffe’s style still has a place in WWE’s broader entertainment playbook.
