WWE may be getting another Bloodline family member, and this one comes with a very familiar last name.

Fightful Select stated that WWE’s current plan is to sign Zilla Fatu, assuming the deal is not already done. Fatu was recently at the WWE Performance Center and was going through the steps needed to get ready for a signing.

“WWE’s current plan is to sign Zilla Fatu, if he hasn’t been signed already.”

That is a pretty big move if everything goes through. Zilla is the 26-year-old son of the late Umaga, which immediately ties him to one of wrestling’s most famous families. WWE already has Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa under contract, so adding Zilla would make the family presence in WWE even deeper.

There has been talk for a while about WWE possibly having interest in Zilla Fatu, but it was noted that things picked up fairly recently. He has been working regularly for House of Glory and Reality of Wrestling, building his name outside WWE before this possible jump.

Zilla’s arrival would also raise the obvious question about how WWE would use him. With the Bloodline story still being one of the biggest things connected to the company, another member of that family walking through the door gives WWE a lot to play with. They could throw him right into the family drama, keep him away from it at first, or let him develop before putting him anywhere near Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and The Usos.

Either way, this is not just another signing. Zilla Fatu has a family name that means something in WWE, and that alone will get fans watching closely the second he shows up.

WWE already has plenty of Bloodline pieces on the board, but Zilla Fatu could be the next one. If the deal is done or close to done, then another chapter in that family’s WWE story may be getting ready to start.
