WWE’s return of the all-women’s Evolution event isn’t off to a strong start when it comes to ticket sales — and the numbers are raising concerns just days out from the show.
WrestleTix posted an update on July 4th that painted a clear picture of how the upcoming weekend at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena is shaping up. Saturday Night’s Main Event, set for July 12th and featuring Bill Goldberg’s retirement match against Gunther, is already closing in on a sellout. A total of 10,731 tickets have been distributed for SNME, with only 1,784 tickets remaining.
The situation for Evolution, happening the next night on July 13th, is far different. Only 4,804 tickets have been distributed so far, with 1,578 tickets still available. The cheapest seats for Evolution are priced at just $56.75 — significantly lower than SNME, where standard admission starts at $103.35.
WrestleTix explained what’s happening with both shows, pointing out how the resale patterns reveal a major gap in demand. They noted:
“Based on resale patterns, I’d expect SNME to have more upper deck sections occupied. Evolution, on the other hand, has very little resale activity up there and a significantly lower price point in the lower bowl, so it’s likely anyone with combo tickets in the upper deck will be moved to the lower bowl.”
They also mentioned that certain parts of the arena haven’t been opened for Evolution yet. Photos from the shows will provide more clarity as the events get closer.
“It also looks like much of the hard cam side hasn’t been opened yet. We’ll know more as we get closer and once photos from the shows start coming in.”
The weak ticket sales for Evolution are already reigniting an old discussion within WWE. One of the reasons the company hesitated for years to bring the all-women’s show back was because of concerns over ticket demand. These latest numbers are only adding fuel to that narrative.
