WWE just dropped the trailer for its new behind-the-scenes docuseries WWE: Unreal—and it’s giving fans their first real glimpse into how the company’s top storylines are built from scratch.
The 40-second trailer was released on Monday, teasing the raw, chaotic, and tightly managed world behind WWE’s creative curtain. WWE: Unreal is a 10-part series headed to Netflix this summer, and it’s set to show just how calculated the chaos really is.
“Lift the curtain,” WWE’s Paul “Triple H” Levesque promises in the trailer, teasing a look into the “calculated, coordinated production” that goes into every show. Viewers get a fast-paced montage of writers meetings, backstage walkthroughs with talent, Gorilla Position chaos, and more.
The show is expected to feature footage from early 2025, including the Royal Rumble and some of the first Raw episodes under Netflix’s new streaming deal. It’ll run just over eight hours total and aims to pull the curtain back on WWE like never before.
The series comes from a heavy-hitting creative team that includes Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, NFL Films, Skydance Sports, and WWE itself. Omaha is also behind the Stephanie’s Places series on ESPN+, so they’re no strangers to storytelling inside sports entertainment.
There’s no confirmed release date just yet, but the fact that WWE has dropped the trailer means the full series could hit Netflix in the coming months.
