WWE is making a massive shift in where fans will watch its biggest events — and Peacock is officially getting the boot. Starting in 2026, WWE’s Premium Live Events will stream exclusively on ESPN’s brand-new direct-to-consumer platform, ESPN DTC.

That means WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and other major shows are headed to ESPN — both on the streaming platform and, in some cases, on traditional ESPN TV channels. The new deal also includes pre-show and post-show coverage to give fans more access to WWE’s world of chaos, drama, and hard-hitting action.

“WWE has an immense, devoted and passionate fanbase that we’re excited to super-serve on our new ESPN DTC platform. This agreement, which features the most-significant WWE events of the year, bolsters our unprecedented content portfolio and helps drive our streaming future.”

Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman of ESPN, emphasized that WWE’s passionate audience makes this a no-brainer for the network’s future streaming goals. TKO President Mark Shapiro echoed the excitement, saying ESPN is the perfect platform to match WWE’s larger-than-life presence, especially after seeing the success UFC had with the network.

“We are proud to reinforce the ‘E’ in ESPN at such an exciting juncture in its direct-to-consumer journey. WWE Premium Live Events are renowned for exactly the type of rich storytelling, incredible feats of athleticism and can’t-miss, cultural tentpole experiences that have become synonymous with ESPN. Through our UFC relationship, we have experienced firsthand how transformational an ESPN presence can be, and we know this will be an exceptional partnership at a time of great innovation for both companies.”

WWE President Nick Khan called the deal a major step forward, bringing together two powerhouse brands that dominate their respective spaces.

“WWE’s agreement with ESPN is a pivotal moment for our millions of fans across the United States: the leader in sports entertainment partnering with the biggest brand in sports media. Bringing WWE’s flagship events to ESPN’s platform is tremendously exciting. We know the sky is the limit.”

The new arrangement puts an end to WWE’s streaming deal with Peacock, which had hosted Premium Live Events since 2021. With ESPN DTC stepping in as the new home, the change is expected to expand WWE’s reach and elevate its live event viewing experience using ESPN’s tech, coverage, and distribution power.

As WWE continues evolving its content delivery, this move marks a bold leap into the future of digital wrestling entertainment.
