Giulia’s NXT title loss had fans talking, but don’t count her out just yet. While she dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Stephanie Vaquer at NXT Roadblock, many were quick to assume it was due to backstage issues or physical setbacks. Now, we’re getting some clarity—and it looks like WWE still has plans for the Beautiful Madness.

In an update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer addressed the rumors about Giulia’s condition and WWE’s reasoning behind the title switch. “There were reports out that Giulia was banged up and would be taking time off and that’s why Stephanie Vaquer won both titles. However, those in WWE denied that to us.”

Despite not wrestling since the Roadblock event, Giulia was spotted on the March 22 NXT live event in Bartow, Florida. She didn’t compete, but she sure left an impression. Giulia confronted Cora Jade during a promo segment and ended the moment by laying her out. The message was loud and clear—Giulia is far from done in NXT.

This appearance came just after reports of her dealing with a minor visa issue and an undisclosed injury, which were said to contribute to her sudden loss at Roadblock. That bout saw her clash with Vaquer in a Winner-Takes-All match for both the NXT Women’s and NXT Women’s North American Titles—an intense battle that left Giulia titleless for the first time in her NXT career.

Sean Ross Sapp also chimed in on her WWE status, revealing on The Hump that Giulia’s WrestleMania path hasn’t changed. “As far as I heard, she was. I haven’t heard anything to indicate that she’s not,” Sapp said when asked about her presence at WrestleMania 41.

Originally, plans seemed to be heading toward a triple threat match at NXT Stand & Deliver between Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Jordynne Grace. But Meltzer added that from the way things have unfolded on TV, it now appears to be “Vaquer vs. Grace in a singles match, and if it’s a three-way, the third person would be Jaida Parker.”

So where does that leave Giulia? She’s clearly still in the picture—just not exactly where people expected. With her surprise return in Florida and no official announcement ruling her out of WrestleMania, it looks like WWE is keeping its options open.

Whatever happens next, Giulia’s not going quietly. She’s made that clear.

What do you think WWE should do with Giulia now? Should she stay in NXT or debut on the main roster at Wrestle Mania 41? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
