Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa’s escalating Bloodline drama might come with some serious gold.
WrestleVotes dropped an intriguing update on December 19, revealing WWE has discussed introducing a Tribal Chief Championship as part of the storyline between Reigns and Sikoa. The concept would mirror the People’s Championship that was presented to The Rock at WrestleMania earlier this year.
“Sources indicate WWE has discussed introducing a Tribal Chief Championship into the storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, similar to the People’s Championship presented to The Rock at WrestleMania earlier this year.”
The idea of a Tribal Chief Championship would elevate the stakes in Reigns and Sikoa’s “tribal combat” match, set for WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025. This explosive feud has been brewing since Reigns lost his role as the leader of the Bloodline. In a gripping promo aired on SmackDown, Reigns declared his mission to reclaim his family’s respect, the ula fala, and his rightful place at the top of the family hierarchy.
“January 6th is Netflix. That’s what it’s all about,” Reigns stated. “For me, it’s tribal combat. I take back my Bloodline. I take back my ula fala. I take back my respect.”
While the storyline has already been intense, adding a physical title could give the feud a more tangible payoff. Whether it serves as a symbol of familial pride or becomes a legitimate championship defended in the ring remains to be seen, but fans are already speculating about how this will unfold.
As the Bloodline saga continues, the potential introduction of the Tribal Chief Championship could redefine this family war.
