The clock is ticking on Roman Reigns’ WWE return — and it looks like he might be coming back with a fresh twist.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE isn’t just getting the wheels in motion for Reigns’ comeback, they’re also tossing around alternate versions of his famous “Tribal Chief” title. While nothing is confirmed yet, insiders say WWE has “discussed different variations of the ‘Tribal Chief’ moniker” behind closed doors as they map out his return plans.

Reigns has been off TV since getting wrecked by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker on the chaotic RAW after WrestleMania 41. Since then, he’s stayed low-key but hasn’t gone totally off the radar. He was recently spotted posing for fan photos in Hollywood, Florida — proof that the former Undisputed WWE Champion isn’t hiding, just waiting for the right moment.

Now, with SummerSlam creeping closer, his name has “popped up internally in recent weeks,” a signal WWE is finalizing his comeback. The potential refresh of his Tribal Chief branding could be part of a bigger shift in his character — especially after losing his dominant grip on the title picture.
