A WWE fan tried to show love for Saraya—formerly known as Paige—but WWE wasn’t interested in letting it slide.

During the October 17, 2025 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, a front-row fan held up a sign that read “Paige Come Home.” The message was clearly meant to show support for Saraya following her AEW exit earlier this year.

But before the show was over, WWE staff approached the fan, told him the sign wasn’t allowed, and confiscated it. Video footage shows the fan reluctantly folding it up and handing it over.

The moment started spreading on social media that same night. It wasn’t until the next day that Saraya saw the photo and reposted it to her Instagram Stories with a short message for the fan ,“You make my day. Thank you for showing so much love with these signs.”

Despite the public support, WWE still isn’t showing any interest in bringing her back. Saraya has admitted before that she would’ve answered the phone if WWE reached out—but that call never came.

She’s been focusing on her Rule Breakers podcast and other outside projects, while fans continue to chant her name, bring signs, and post tributes. WWE might be keeping the door closed, but the audience hasn’t let go.

What do you think about WWE confiscating the “Paige Come Home” sign? Do you want to see Saraya return to WWE as Paige one day? Sound off in the comments.
