WWE showed up in Montreal for their January 23 episode of SmackDown. With the Royal Rumble coming up on January 31, the show included a huge announcement.
The Royal Rumble is getting ready to take over Saudi Arabia next week. The big over the top rope battle royal match will get a ton of attention, but now we know one big return to expect.
Although huge names are usually reserved for surprises during the Royal Rumble, WWE confirmed one tonight during SmackDown. They played a video of Roman Reigns to hype his return, and they confirmed that it will go down next Saturday at the Royal Rumble.
The 2026 Royal Rumble will go down in the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We will have full coverage of the event here at Ringside News.
We will have to see what happens with Roman Reigns next. His return to the scene could really shake things up. Obviously, he is going to be on a mission as the road to WrestleMania starts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
