WWE’s next class of rising stars is about to be revealed—and it’s all going down on WWE EVOLVE.
In a post shared on October 15, WWE officially announced that new WWE ID prospects are coming soon, continuing the company’s push to scout and spotlight top-tier talent from the independent wrestling scene. The announcement teased fresh names entering the system with a graphic and the caption: “Who’s next? 👀 New @WWEID prospects are coming soon!”
The WWE ID program, which launched in October 2024, is WWE’s latest effort to bridge the gap between indie wrestling and its developmental ecosystem. The program gives standout performers from select independent wrestling schools an official “WWE ID Prospect” designation—offering increased visibility, developmental support, and appearances on WWE EVOLVE and even NXT. According to WWE, the ID system is meant to:
“Identify the top independent wrestling prospects with an official ‘WWE ID Prospect’ designation and support their developmental journey.”
These prospects are featured in curated behind-the-scenes content, highlight reels, and matches promoted across WWE’s social platforms, allowing fans to track their growth in real-time.
So far, names like Jack Cartwheel, Marcus Mathers, Sean Legacy, Jackson Drake, and ID Men’s Champion Cappuccino Jones have emerged as standouts from the program. On the women’s side, Zayda Steel and ID Women’s Champion Kylie Rae recently made headlines after announcing their departure from the initiative.
With Kylie Rae’s title now vacant, and Zayda Steel moving on, there’s a massive opportunity for fresh faces to make an impact—and fans are already speculating who the next breakout could be. Will we see indie darlings or total unknowns step into the spotlight next? Only time will tell.
