WWE has made it official—Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are now recognized as a full-fledged tag team under the name RHIYO, following their shocking win on last week’s Monday Night Raw.
The duo captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship by defeating the Kabuki Warriors in an unexpected pairing that had only been loosely acknowledged on-screen. While fans may have picked up on them referring to themselves as “RHIYO” since last year, WWE had not officially recognized the moniker—until now.
After last week’s Raw, the champions were still listed separately on WWE’s roster page. But as of today, that’s changed. WWE’s website now lists the duo under one name: RHIYO—in all caps, confirming the branding as official.
RHIYO will defend their newly won titles on Saturday Night’s Main Event, set for January 24. Their opponents? Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, who secured their title opportunity after winning a number one contender’s match on Raw in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This marks a major evolution in WWE’s women’s tag division, as the pairing of Ripley and SKY—two of WWE’s most dominant solo forces—adds star power and unpredictability to the division.
Will RHIYO’s dominance continue past their first title defense, or will Liv and Roxanne shock the world? Only time will tell.

What do you think of WWE officially branding Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY as RHIYO? Are you into this powerhouse pairing, or should they have stayed solo? Let us know your thoughts below.
