WWE Changes SmackDown Match With Last-Minute Replacement Ahead Of February 20 Show

WWE has made another late change to tonight’s February 20 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, altering a previously announced match just hours before the show goes live.

After initially promoting Giulia vs. IYO SKY, WWE took to Twitter with an update confirming that IYO SKY has been pulled from the match.

“BREAKING NEWS: @RheaRipley_WWE will replace @IyoSkyWWE and face @giulia0221g on #SmackDown tonight, 8/7c on @SYFY!”

With that change, Rhea Ripley will now face Giulia in a new singles matchup, replacing what was originally scheduled as a clash of champions. WWE did not provide any details as to why the match was changed.

• Rhea Ripley vs Giulia
• Gunther vs Tama Tonga
• Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Trick Williams vs Carmelo Hayes vs Damian Priest
• Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Nia Jax vs Charlotte Flair vs Kiana James
• Oba Femi vs Kit Wilson
