A top name from the UK indie scene could be on their way to WWE—though nothing has been officially confirmed.

According to Fightful Select, multiple sources within the British wrestling scene believe that Rayne Leverkusen has been picked up by WWE. While no deal has been publicly confirmed, Leverkusen has been quietly wrapping up commitments in the UK, recently dropping the Hustle Wrestling title at a February 5 event and vacating the PROGRESS Women’s Championship in January.

Leverkusen previously participated in two WWE tryouts last year, including the high-profile SummerSlam camp, where she was named MVP. That accolade significantly raised her profile within the company’s recruitment radar.

“She’ll get to the very top. Genuinely one of the very best I’ve worked with.”

There has been no official word from WWE on whether a contract has been signed, but the expectation from several within the UK wrestling community is that Leverkusen will report to the company soon.

Is Rayne Leverkusen WWE-bound, or just clearing the deck for something bigger on the indie scene? Let us know what you think.
