The Backlash Premium Live Event is almost upon us and WWE has booked a solid lineup of matches that will definitely keep fans entertained from start to finish, as the show promises to be a memorable one.

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Beck Lynch helped Lyra Valkyria win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 41, only to turn on her 24 hours later and reveal she had attacked Bayley to steal the spot. Lynch will be challenging Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, so we’ll have to wait and see if The Man will end up winning the title when all is said and done.

GUNTHER vs. Pat McAfee

After GUNTHER choked out Pat McAfee during the April 21st edition of Monday Night Raw, it was clear the two were going to duke it out soon. That’s exactly what will happen as the Ring General will square off against McAfee at Backlash this week and fans can’t wait to see how McAfee will fare against GUNTHER.

Intercontinental Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Penta

Dominik Mysterio won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 but he didn’t pin Penta to get the win. Penta will now be challenging Dominik Mysterio for the title at Backlash, so it remains to be seen whether Penta will reclaim the title once again.

United States Championship: Jacob Fatu (c) vs. LA Knight vs. Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre

Jacob Fatu has been dominant as the United States Champion, but he’s in for his toughest challenge yet as he will put his title on the line against LA Knight, Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre in a fatal four way match at Backlash. The odds are stacked against him, so we’ll have to see how the Samoan Werewolf will fare in the end.

Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. Randy Orton

John Cena will be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton and it will be the last time the two ever square off against each other in a match. So far, Orton’s had Cena’s number on every occasion, nailing him with an RKO. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the Apex Predator will be able to topple Cena once and for all and become a World Champion again.
