WWE has made a notable move behind the scenes, as Alexandra Williams revealed she has been promoted within the company to a major creative leadership role.

Williams announced on LinkedIn that she has been elevated to Vice President and Lead Writer. She previously held the position of senior writer and producer before receiving the new title. Sharing the update publicly, Williams confirmed the change in her role with the company.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President/Lead Writer at WWE!”

Her updated LinkedIn description also sheds light on how much influence the role carries within WWE’s creative structure, particularly when it comes to Monday Night RAW. According to Williams, she now oversees the entire creative development process for WWE’s flagship weekly program.

“As VP and Lead Writer for WWE’s flagship live program, I oversee all creative development for Monday Night RAW — one of cable television’s longest-running and highest-rated weekly shows.”

Her responsibilities include working closely with executive leadership and WWE’s writing staff to shape weekly storylines and major premium live event programs.

“I pitch to and collaborate with executive leadership and a cross-functional writing team to conceptualize and execute week-to-week storylines, character arcs, and premium live event buildups, including WrestleMania and Survivor Series.”

Williams also explained that the role involves managing both short-term episode planning and long-term storytelling direction across the brand.

“I help drive the full creative process from episode rundowns to long-form narrative strategy, developing complex characters and compelling feuds that deepen audience engagement across live broadcasts, digital platforms, and social media.”

She noted that the creative process is supported by data and audience trends, which influence both immediate programming decisions and future storylines.

“My work is informed by an analytical approach — tracking segment performance, audience trends, and viewership data to make real-time and long-term programming decisions.”

Williams also credited collaboration across WWE departments for helping drive the company’s continued success.

“In partnership with talent, producers, and brand leadership, I’ve contributed to record-setting live event attendance and revenue growth, helping position RAW as the cornerstone of WWE’s content ecosystem under the TKO umbrella.”

The promotion places Williams in a key creative role during a period where WWE continues to expand its global reach and media presence.
