Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton really went to town on each other on the April 4 episode of SmackDown after they went off script during their promo. Charlotte Flair was also getting booed during the segment but it appears WWE has now been accused of piping in fake boos for Charlotte Flair during the show.

While speaking on BroDown with host Mac Davis, former WWE writer Vince Russo revealed his thoughts on Charlotte Flair’s promo. He pointed out that the crowd was actually quiet during the segment, and stated that WWE was clearly adding fake boos to make it seem like fans were reacting strongly, accusing them of the same.

Russo believes the company did this to get fans to turn on Charlotte Flair after she harshly criticized Tiffany Stratton last week on the blue brand. He said it was obvious the boos were fake because no one in the crowd was actually booing, even though the sound was loud on TV.

“People, don’t be so naive. They were clear as day piping in the boos for Charlotte. Nobody was booing in the arena. Nobody. Not one person was booing. Here’s what happened. Charlotte totally buried Tiffy last week, remember? So that’s why they did this… They had these booing chants over Charlotte so loud and you’re looking at everybody in the crowd, and not one person is booing.”

WrestleVotes reported that “Charlotte & Tiffany said very little of what was in the rundown for them. Off script quite a bit,” and that was obvious from the start. In addition to that, WWE even ended up deleting the entire off-script segment from social media.

It was reported that the backstage reaction to Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair going off script on SmackDown was immediate and intense. The incident quickly became a major topic of conversation among the WWE roster, and many just thought it became a messy situation.

With Vince Russo now claiming that WWE used fake crowd reactions, it adds even more drama and controversy to the ongoing situation between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see how WWE will handle this situation with Flair and Stratton as we head towards WrestleMania 41.
