WWE’s high-priced WrestleMania 42 experiences are already under the microscope — and now Stevie Richards is taking direct aim at the company’s latest offering centered around Cody Rhodes.
Following the announcement of the nearly $10,000 Cody Rhodes Bus Tour experience, Richards didn’t hold back while speaking on his YouTube channel on March 28, 2026 — questioning both the value and the intent behind the package.
“Let’s get to the Cody Rhodes bus tour. So here’s the quote: take an unforgettable tour with the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. This exclusive Cody Rhodes bus tour will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the electric atmosphere of WrestleMania.”
Richards immediately poked holes in the concept, arguing that riding around Las Vegas on a bus doesn’t exactly translate to a true WrestleMania experience. He also took issue with how vague the package details are, especially when it comes to what fans are actually paying for.
“How does being on Cody Rhodes’s tour bus in downtown Las Vegas give you any sense of WrestleMania? The only thing that is definitely set in stone is probably the price and a brief one-on-one interaction with Cody.”
From there, Richards broke down the experience in blunt terms, suggesting fans are essentially paying thousands just to sit on a bus and look out the window. He even compared the pricing to standard Vegas tours, questioning why fans would spend that kind of money for something he believes offers far less value.
“For 10 grand, you get a brief one-on-one meeting with Cody Rhodes where a professional tour guide is going to be talking the entire way. So you can’t really talk to Cody on his own bus. All of you are just going to be looking at one to two Las Vegas landmarks… you’re sat on a bus looking out the window. You could be anywhere with anyone. Aren’t there actually tour buses to take you around Vegas to the landmarks for a lot less than that?”
Richards didn’t stop there — he went as far as calling the entire concept exploitative, accusing WWE of targeting its most loyal audience.
“It feels like exploiting the people they know they’ve got — the super hardcore fans who will splurge this one time a year… But targeting people who feel loyal… it’s a scam.”
The comments come as WWE continues to push premium WrestleMania experiences, with this bus tour limited to just 12 fans at nearly $10,000 each. While some may see it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Richards’ reaction shows that not everyone is buying into the idea — especially at that price point.
