205 Live opens with Tom Phillips and Corey Graves talking about our main event between Austin Aries and TJP. Noam Dar makes his way to the ring with Alicia Foooooo by his side.

Noam Dar W/Alicia Fox Vs. Gran Metalik

After a quick lock-up, Metalik forces Dar to the corner where the ref separates them. Dar gets a kiss from Alicia for encouragement.  Metalik gets whipped into the ropes but bounces right off of them before catching Dar with a back elbow and a springboard arm-drag.

Dar leaves the ring to regroup but Metalik hits a huge springboard moonsault to the floor. Metalik throws Dar back into the ring and, as he enters, Fox shouts at him, allowing Dar to dropkick Metalik off of the apron. Dar brings him back inside the ring and stomps on his face.

Dar kicks Metalik and goes to work on his left arm. Dar applies an arm-triangle to Metalik and bends the fingers back. Gran Metalik starts to fight back but Dar punches him back to the mat. Dar looks for a suplex but Metalik stays on his feet, then reverses into a suplex of his own.

Metalik chops Dar so hard that he collapses like a swatted fly. Metalik gets whipped into the ropes and responds with a springboard back elbow with serious height. Metalik lands a reverse slingblade for a near-fall. Dar kicks the rope from under Metalik as he tried to utilise them. Dar hyper-extends the elbow of Metalik by bending it around the bottom rope.

Metalik catches Dar with an enziguri, then goes to the top rope and lands a nice elbow drop for a near-fall. Metalik tries walking along the middle ropes but Dar kicks him down before hitting the Scottish Supernova for the win.

Winner: Noam Dar

Noam Dar celebrates with Alicia Fox after the match. A solid match, these two have good chemistry.

We get an interview backstage with Brian Kendrick. Dasha asks him about his Street Fight with Akira Tozawa next week. Kendrick says this match suits him perfectly. He doesn’t have to confine the action to the ring, and he has a clever mind. After mocking his chant, Kendrick says he plans on ending Tozawa’s 205 Live dreams.

We get a video package for the return of the awesome Cedric Alexander. He returns next week.

Tony Nese makes his way to the ring for some action. His opponent, Mustafa Ali comes out next, only to be attacked by Drew Gulak from behind. Gulak kicks Ali and he flies back, then throws him into the ring post. And the winner for greatest-ever sell of a ring post is Mustafa Ali. Gulak picks Ali up and beats him down before setting him in the corner of the ring, where Tony Nese hits his running knee finisher. Gulak stands over Ali with his “No Fly Zone” sign.

We get a promo for Shinsuke Nakamura’s debut at Backlash. Dasha interviews Rich Swann, asking about Noam Dar and Alicia Fox. Swann says he wants to get as far from them as possible and move on with his life. A courier appears with a package for one Richard T. Swann. Rich says that isn’t for him and points the courier in the direction of Ariya Daivari. The courier gives him the package and he believes it to be the expensive sunglasses he ordered. He realises it isn’t them before opening and walks off. Jack Gallagher walks up and grabs the box but before he can open it, Daivari returns and snatches it back. Ariya opens the box and white dust explodes in his face.

TJP Vs. Austin Aries

TJP bails from the ring as soon as the bell rings and Aries waits for him atop the corner. Again Perkins leaves the ring but this time Aries follows after him. TJP slams Aries into the apron and sends him back inside. TJP looks for a senton from the apron but Aries gets his knees up.

Aries beats Perkins around the ring before landing his own senton from the apron. Aries takes TJP to the corner and unleashes some big punches before TJP attacks the knee. Aries quickly catches TJP with in Last Chancery but the wily heel scrambles to the ropes and out of the ring.

Aries, not giving TJP any space, leaps over the top rope and onto him. Aries tosses TJP into the barricade before bringing him back inside and chopping his chest. Aries goes for the ten punches again but TJP throws him off and onto the top rope, crotch-first. TJP goes to work on Aries, stomping on him and attacking the injured knee.

TJP is in firm control of the match and the pace. TJP dabs before attempting a submission attempt, only for Aries to start chopping him from the mat. TJP responds with a dragonscrew and some ground-and-pound. Aries finally starts a comeback and lands some big hands. Aries hits a gutbuster, then an STO and the Pendulum Elbow. Aries takes to the top rope and hits an elbow to the back of Perkins.

Perhaps @MegaTJP is taking #TheRevival‘s #NoFlipsJustFists to heart here against @AustinAries? #205Live pic.twitter.com/wk76PIhMaj

Aries looks to steal a win via roll-up but TJP kicks-out. Aries attempts a neckbreaker through the ropes but TJP kicks him away and to the floor. TJP hits the Wrecking Ball Dropkick for a near-fall. TJP picks away at Aries as he punches and kicks him. TJP looks for the Detonation Kick but Austin reverses. Aries goes to the well again and lands the neckbreaker through the ropes, then a suicide dive to TJP on the outside.

Aries goes to the top rope and is forced to fight-off TJP before missing a big dropkick. TJP catches Aries with a chop block before applying the knee bar. TJP holds onto the bottom rope but the referee doesn’t see. Eventually the ref sees and TJP breaks the hold at the 5 count. TJP lifts Aries onto his shoulders for the Detonation Kick but Aries holds onto the top rope, then manages to roll down TJP’s back and quickly apply Last Chancery. TJP taps instantly.

Winner: Austin Aries

As soon as the bell rings, the Cruiserweight Champion storms the ring and attacks Aries. Neville stomps on the knee of Aries and slams it into the ring post. Neville applies a modified heel hook onto Aries, who taps in vein. Jack Gallagher storms the ring and attacks Neville with William III. Gallagher headbutt’s Neville, fulfilling his promise to protect Aries. Corey Graves questions if Austin Aries will be able to compete at Extreme Rules in three weeks.

Things are FAR from over between @AustinAries and @WWE #Cruiserweight Champion @WWENeville! #205Live pic.twitter.com/Mt21PGRMwd
