205 Live opens with the King of the Cruiserweights, Neville, coming to the stage. He says 1 year and 1 day ago, in this very building, he broke his ankle and was robbed of his first WrestleMania moment.

He says he looked around and nobody cared. As the months passed, he had been forgotten by everyone. So he came back and obliterated the division to show how dominant he is. He says tonight’s show will feature the biggest main event in the show’s history, to determine who will share the grandest stage of them all with the King. He says it doesn’t matter who wins tonight because they will simply be used to feed the inevitable. He will beat them so bad that they will question their very existence. Whoever wins will simply come to WrestleMania and kneel at the throne of the King.

Mustafa Ali comes out and interrupts Neville. He looks at Neville, then walks right past. He heads to the ring for a match. Awesome promo from Neville.

Mustafa Ali Vs. Drew Gulak

The customary handshake before the bell, then Ali looks for a takedown on the right leg of Gulak. Drew shrugs him off, then chops the chest of Ali.

Mustafa Ali looks for a crucifix pin attempt but Gulak kicks out. Ali then hits a springboard hurricanrana that sends Gulak from the ring. Ali takes to the top rope and dives onto Gulak on the outside. Back inside the ring, Ali chops Gulak and whips him into the corner. Ali looks for a Tornado DDT from the top rope but stops mid-way with a guillotine. Gulak uses his power to life Ali high in the air and slam him down.

Just a taste of how DANGEROUS @MustafaAliWWE can be! @DrewGulak #205Live pic.twitter.com/Bekn4pETxI

Gulak takes control and stomps on Ali using the ropes for leverage. Gulak gets Mustafa in a Gory Special and the referee asks if he wants to quit. Gulak sinks it in deeper before letting go.

Ali starts a comeback and kicks Gulak in the face from the apron, then dives through the ropes and lands a neckbreaker on Gulak. Drew Gulak hits a sunset flip on Ali for a near-fall. Ali leaps over Gulak in the corner, then springboards off the ropes for a Tornado DDT. Mustafa takes to the top rope and hits the inverted 450 Splash for the win!

Winner: Mustafa Ali

After the match Drew Gulak slams the announce desk, then grabs a microphone. He says he comes out here week after week and does his best work in the ring. But nobody respects him, he just walks away frustrated. He’s not the one who needs to change though, the problem is 205 Live. He says the show needs to change and throws the microphone.

Backstage, we see Ariya Daivari with Noam Dar. Dar says he requested a rematch of last week’s tag team match and they will do much better this week. Daivari says he doesn’t need a pep speech, he wants to crush Jack Gallagher. Noam Dar says that Alicia Fox will only stay with a winner, so they need to win the match tonight. Daivari looks at him pitifully, then they bump fists and Dar looks like his hand hurts.

Rich Swann & Jack Gallagher Vs. Noam Dar & Ariya Daivari

The match begins with Noam Dar and Jack Gallagher. Dar gets Jack in a headlock to start the match but Gentleman walks out. They lock-up again and Gallagher applies a headlock of his own. Gallagher is whipped into the corner where he props himself upside down. Dar and Daivari run at Gallagher at the same time, and Jack jumps over Dar into the ring, allowing Dar and Daivari to headbutt each other.

Gallagher twists the arm of Daivari and looks for a tag to Rich Swann but Alicia Fox pulls Rich from the apron! Gallagher gets double-teamed for several minutes before finally making the tag. Swann comes out swinging and even hits RVD’s Rolling Thunder.

As @TomPhillipsWWE said, THIS is what @GottaGetSwann brings to the table on @WWE205Live! #205Live pic.twitter.com/49iMHuUvZG

Swann whips Daivari to the corner, gets a boot for his troubles, but lands a kick of his own. Blind tag made by Dar before Swann sends Daivari to the middle of the ring for the head scissors take down. Dar hits a Shining Wizard for the win.

Winners: Noam Dar & Ariya Daivari

After the match, Dar grabs the mic and says actions speak louder than words/gifts, and got her the victory instead. Right on cue, the terribly dressed delivery guy comes in with a huge teddy bear, which Dar claims as his idea once again.

Next up is our main event and out first is the fan favourite, Double A!

Fatal 5-Way Elimination match

Tony Nese Vs. Austin Aries Vs. Akira Tozawa Vs. TJ Perkins Vs. The Brian Kendrick

A loud Austin Aries chant reigns as the match starts. Aries soaks it in and sits on the top rope watching the other guys go at it. Kendrick slides from the ring and Tozawa goes out after him. In the corner, Nese flips Perkins over to the outside and Aries immediately clobbers him with a running dropkick.

Aries and Perkins are alone in the ring. They exchange holds until Perkins hits the ropes looking for a sunset flip but Aries rolls through. Perkins uses his feet to grab Aries by the head and spins around on his head, flipping Aries over. Perkins with a dropkick and a dab. The fans boo.

Aries hits a few forearms on Perkins, then a nice arm drag and a dropkick of how own. Aries hits a running back elbow in the corner, then a leaping elbow drop to the back of Perkins. Aries tosses Perkins from the ring and waves goodbye, allowing Kendrick to run in and attack him from behind.

Tozawa enters the fray and takes out Kendrick, then shouts and the crowd chant with him. Nese hits Tozawa, then eats a back hand chop from Akira. Tozawa looks for a suicide dive but Kendrick yanks him from the ring. Just then, Aries hits a heat-seeking missile on Tony Nese.

Kendrick tries to form an alliance with Aries and they throw everyone else from the ring. Kendrick attacks Aries, then throws him from the ring. Perkisn re-enters and Kendrick beats on him. Kendrick throws Perkins through the ropes but TJ holds onto the ropes. Perkins beats on Kendrick and lands a fast dropkick. Perkins hits a back elbow on Kendrick in the corner but then Tony Nese hits him like a train.

Nese body slams Perkins, then applies the body scissors. Perkins fights out and Tozawa runs in, hits the Snap German Suplex on Nese and that’s i…Kendrick breaks-up the count. This is an elimination match. Kendrick throws Tozawa from the ring and looks to get the pin himself but Nese kicks out.

“You don’t belong in this match AND YOU KNOW IT!” @TonyNese to @MegaTJP amidst our #Fatal5Way Elimination Match main event! #205Live pic.twitter.com/Be4NiyNchG

— 205Live (@WWE205Live) March 15, 2017

Tozawa comes back in and kicks Kendrick square in the chest, then knocks him out of the ring. Tozawa then hits a crazy suicide dive on Kendrick. Tozawa chants outside the ring and Perkins leaps over the top rope onto him. Tony Nese then leaps over the top rope backwards and onto both men. Austin Aries takes to the top rope but Kendrick shoves him off and to the floor. Nese lowers his knee pad, sprints and knee’s Austin Aries in the head, breaking the barricade in the process!

Nese throws Perkins back into the ring and runs at him but Perkins lifts him up for the Detonation Kick. Nese climbs off and shoves Perkins into Brian Kendrick on the apron. Perkins locks in a cross armbreaker and Nese taps! Tony Nese Eliminated.

After getting eliminated, Tony Nese attacks Perkins. Tozawa then runs back in and kicks Nese from the ring. Kendrick them reappears and hits Sliced Bread No. 2 on Tozawa and he’s gone! Akira Tozawa Eliminated.

Brian Kendrick doesn’t take time to celebrate, he runs right over and tries to lock-in the Captain’s Hook on TJ Perkins. He can’t get it in fully and Perkins rolls him off. Kendrick looks for another Sliced Bread but Perkins throws him off and onto the top rope. Perkins climbs up behind Kendrick for a dragon sleeper suplex but Austin Aries comes back in and powerbombs Perkins off as Kendrick hits Slice Bread No. 2.

And from OUT OF NOWHERE @AustinAries emerges to prove he’s very much ALIVE in this match! @mrbriankendrick @MegaTJP #205Live pic.twitter.com/urvnK2qfjp

All three men slowly get to their feet. Perkins and Aries look at each other, nod, then clobber Kendrick at the same time. Aries grabs Perkins with a backslide pin attempt but TJ kicks out. Aries uses an ear clap on perkins and looks for a brain buster but Perkins reverses. Perkins lifts Aries up for Detonation kick but Kendrick kicks him in the face. Both Aries and Kendrick fall on Perkins and pin him. TJ Perkins Eliminated.

Brian Kendrick immediately applies the Captain’s Hook to Austin Aries. Perkins then dropkicks Kendrick off of Aries. Perkins rolls onto the apron and hits an enziguri on Kendrick. Aries runs and tries to hit Kendrick but accidentally hits Perkins, knocking him from the apron. Kendrick seizes the opportunity and hits Slice Bread on Aries…but he kicks out!

Kendrick again applies the Captain’s Hook and Aries struggles. Austin makes it to the bottom rope but there are no rope breaks. Aries pulls himself up the ropes and Kendrick tries to flip him over but Aries escapes. Aries clobbers Kendrick with a forearm, then a rolling elbow and wins!

Winner: Austin Aries

205 Live goes off of the air with Austin Aries pointing to the WrestleMania sign.
