The biggest WrestleMania of all time is about to be made official—and it’s happening this Friday.

WWE and Saudi Arabia have finalized the deal for WrestleMania 43 to take place in 2027 as part of the Kingdom’s massive 300th anniversary celebration, and the official announcement is set to go down in Las Vegas.

The timing lines up perfectly, as top TKO executives are already in Vegas for the Canelo vs. Crawford super fight and WWE’s Worlds Collide weekend. With all the major players under one roof, WWE is expected to make the blockbuster reveal on Friday, putting to rest all the rumors about where WrestleMania is heading next.

While an early post this week mistakenly jumped the gun, the information was real—and now it’s just a matter of WWE making it official. Behind the scenes, this event isn’t just another premium show on the calendar—it’s shaping up to be the most over-the-top spectacle in WWE history. Dave Meltzer reported that Saudi officials are throwing down mind-blowing sums of money to make WrestleMania 43 the most star-studded card ever assembled.

“They’re putting up an incredible amount of money, a ridiculous amount of money. And the idea is to present the most star-studded show ever—by far. Anyone. Money’s no object. Any name you can imagine—obviously they’re going to be after.”

And this isn’t just about hosting rights. Saudi Arabia wants creative control too. According to Meltzer, they’re working overtime to get specific matches made—even if that means waiting years to pull it off.

“They have matches that they want, and they’re working really, really hard to get. Even though it’s a couple of years, I don’t know if they’re gonna be able to get them, but they’re gonna spend a lot of money to get what they want, obviously.”

That includes legends. Retired icons like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels are all expected to be approached, even if it’s just to show up for a big-money payday.

“Neither Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels nor Rock vs. Austin are matches I’ve heard specifically. But I would presume all of those people will be contacted. And if they want to do it—even if it’s just for the payday—they’ll be able to do it.”

The entire show is being engineered as a global spectacle, with Saudi General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Al-Alshikh leading the charge. Meltzer described him as “the final boss,” a man with the power and budget to bypass even top WWE and Endeavor executives when it comes to delivering what he wants.

WrestleMania 43 won’t just be the first Mania outside North America—it could be the most expensive, extravagant, and insane event WWE has ever produced.
