WWE’s next all-women’s premium live event is already coming together—and now we know the tag title plans are part of it.

Following Liv Morgan’s shoulder injury, which derailed WWE’s creative direction for the summer, Roxanne Perez has stepped in to replace her alongside Raquel Rodriguez as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. But that’s only part of the story.

According to a new report from Cory Hayes of Bodyslam.net, WWE plans to officially crown Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez as Women’s Tag Team Champions, with both expected to defend the titles at Evolution in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match. The names of the two teams were not revealed in the report we will keep you updated once that information becomes available.

WWE has been forced to rewrite several storylines following Morgan’s injury, which was confirmed as a dislocated shoulder after her match with Kairi Sane on the June 16 episode of RAW. Morgan wasn’t just part of the tag division—she was also central to major plans involving Nikki and Brie Bella, The Judgment Day, Roxanne Perez, IYO SKY, and more.

The June 16 show was supposed to push those stories forward, but with Morgan sidelined, everything fell apart. Nikki Bella was pulled from the show entirely, and rumors suggest that WWE paused Evolution 2 plans until they could reshuffle the women’s division.

Now it looks like those Evolution plans are firmly back on track. Roxanne Perez stepping into the title picture not only salvages the situation—it gives the young star her biggest platform yet.

Do you think the Triple Threat Tag Team Match at Evolution is the right call? Who should challenge Roxanne and Raquel? Drop your picks and let us know how you’d book the show!
