Will Ospreay is back in action after neck surgery, but he admits his biggest concern isn’t just getting through matches — it’s making sure he can still deliver the same pay-per-view performances fans expect from him.

While speaking on the YoJoshMartinez podcast, Ospreay was asked what his biggest challenge will be now that he’s returning to the ring following his procedure. Instead of focusing on physical fear, he made it clear that his main pressure comes from maintaining the high standard he built during his recent run of major matches.

Ospreay explained that he takes pride in the consistency of his big-match performances, especially during the past few years when he felt he was delivering some of his strongest work.

“I think honestly the thing that I'm most concerned about is just that pay-per-view quality that I was able to bring back in 2023 to 2024, and even at the start of 2025. I always had a style of excellence when it came to my pay-per-view quality matches.”

He also pointed out that his first pay-per-view match back won’t be under normal circumstances. The added stipulations and format changes mean he’ll have to rely heavily on his experience and ring awareness to meet expectations.

“This will be my first pay-per-view back where I will be in a very different formulated match where there is a time limit, there are stipulations adding to it. So now it is just relying upon my ability and my skill that I've learned throughout so many years of wrestling that I hope I can just deliver to the fans something that they can all be happy with.”

Ospreay has built his reputation on delivering standout performances on major shows, so his concern about maintaining that level speaks to how seriously he takes his role whenever he steps into the spotlight. After months of recovery, the focus now shifts to whether he can pick up right where he left off.

With his return now underway and expectations still high, Ospreay’s comments show that he’s putting pressure on himself to meet the same level of performance that helped define his recent run at the top of the card.
