Fans looking for pre-show interviews and press appearances ahead of Survivor Series 2025 are out of luck this year.

According to Fightful Select, WWE will not be holding a traditional media junket for the Premium Live Event—continuing a pattern the company has followed for Survivor Series in recent years. The reason? Thanksgiving.

“There will not be a traditional media junket for Survivor Series. WWE doesn't do them for that show, because it would require talent flying in on Thanksgiving, which nobody wants. Taping Smackdown gave a little more flexibility for travel.”

WWE opted to tape Friday Night SmackDown in advance this year, giving its roster more time to enjoy the holiday before heading out to San Diego for the November 29 event at Petco Park. That decision allowed WWE to keep its stars off the road during Thanksgiving while still preparing for what’s expected to be one of the most-watched Survivor Series events ever.

Even without the media circuit, Survivor Series is riding high on fan interest. With WarGames returning, huge names involved, and the show selling out at a rapid pace, WWE clearly doesn’t need a junket to generate buzz this time.

Should WWE reconsider and bring back the junket in future years—or is skipping it during the holidays the smart move? Let us know how you’d handle it in the comments.
