WWE Raw’s season premiere will bring the return of Jerry “The King” Lawler, but there’s a reason why WWE brought back the Hall Of Famer.

Brad Shepard reported on his Oh, You Didn’t Know Patreon that Vince McMahon brought Lawler back due to his experience. He has decades more experience behind the microphone than both Vic Joseph and Dio Maddin put together.

Vince McMahon made the call to add Lawler to the team since they’re inexperienced.

Lawler’s return isn’t supposed to be anything long-term, but we’ll just see how he does. We’ve seen plans change before and it wouldn’t hurt our feelings to keep The King around.
