Taz is appearing on AEW Dynamite this week as they record their New Year’s Day episode from Jacksonville, Florida. There is a reason why he is showing up.

Taz will be making a special appearance on commentary. Dave Meltzer reports that The Human Suplex Machine will be filling in for Tony Schiavone because he has a college football commitment.

The special New Year’s Day episode from Daily’s Place will consist of Jim Ross, Excalibur, and Taz on commentary. That should be a very entertaining soundtrack for the night.

Taz has announced for AEW Dark in the past. Fans loved hearing his voice on commentary so the company is bringing him back.
