The WWE Raw on Netflix debut was packed with legends, but one Hall of Famer was noticeably absent from the broadcast—Shawn Michaels. As it turns out, The Heartbreak Kid was supposed to be there, but he completely missed his moment.

On his latest Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker revealed that Michaels was planned to be shown in the crowd sitting with Stephanie McMahon. However, due to a miscommunication, nobody came to get him when it was time for his on-screen moment.

“Shawn was there,” Undertaker explained. “I don’t think Shawn was on the show. I think he was supposed to be in the crowd sitting with Stephanie, and no one came and got him, or something like that.”

Instead of taking his planned spot in the audience, Michaels was sitting in his dressing room when the cue came. By the time anyone realized the mistake, the moment had already passed.

Undertaker, Michaels, and Bruce Prichard were among the few people at the event who had also been part of the original Monday Night Raw in 1993. “We all took a picture together because we were the only three that were on the original Raw and the Netflix deal,” Undertaker added.

Shawn Michaels missing his moment at WWE Raw’s Netflix debut wasn’t some dramatic snub—it was just a classic case of backstage miscommunication. Still, given his legendary status, you’d think someone would have made sure The Heartbreak Kid was in place when it mattered. With WWE stacking its shows with surprises lately, maybe they’ll make it up to him down the line.

Should WWE have made sure their Hall of Famer got his moment, or does it not really matter in the grand scheme of things? Let us know what you think!
