WWE’s Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event took over the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany last year and it was headlined by GUNTHER’s World Title match against Randy Orton. However, Ludwig Kaiser didn’t manage to compete at the event and he has now admitted that he fought to be on the card, but it simply didn’t work out in the end.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Ludwig Kaiser revealed that he fought to be part of the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event in Germany. He had conversations about it, but it was unclear whether it would happen. He acknowledged that getting on the card was difficult because of the event’s stacked lineup.
“Yes, I did fight for it. There were conversations about it, and it wasn’t really clear if it would happen or not. Again, it’s tough, man. It’s a PLE with so much going on. If you look at the card that night, it was almost impossible to even get on there.”
With so many top wrestlers on the show, he understood why he wasn’t included. However, he is confident that he will be featured in the future. He praised the German fans for their energy and said Germany is an important place for WWE.
Since it was his first time there with WWE, he sees it as just the start. Kaiser stated that he believes there are many shows and opportunities ahead, and he is determined to take full advantage of them.
“There’s so much star power, and again, we have the greatest superstars in the world. When I look at that card, I understand why we weren’t on it that night, but I damn well know I will be in the future. Germany showed out that night, and it’s a great market for the company. It was my first time there with WWE.
There are a lot of shows to come and a lot of opportunities ahead, and I can promise you—Ludwig Kaiser will make the most of them.”
Ludwig Kaiser ended up challenging LA Knight for the United States Championship on the go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown before Bash in Berlin, where he lost to the Megastar.
Nonetheless, we’ll have to wait and see whether Kaiser will be included in the card whenever WWE holds a Premium Live Event in Germany again, as fans feel Kaiser more than deserves it.
